Gantt chart with outlined view turned on and not have the Category populate

I like having the outline view turned on as well as the summary bars. However, this forces the category to populate. I want to maintain having the category to be color coordinated.

The only option is to view only the category of the gantt chart. I would love to see an option to hide the category and only view the item.
