Implementing Card Navigation Settings that already existed in Dashboards.

I was highly encouraged by the CSM to migrate from using Dashboards to using App Studio because it is considered more User Friendly and intuitive. While I agree that we are given more flexibility designing within the space, I noticed there are two key features that are missing from App Studio that is affecting my workflow when creating/editing cards.

1. Please include Card Options button on the cards:

Whenever I have to make edits or drill paths on a card in Dashboards, it is easy because I just need to click on Card Options and click on the desired action.

Being able to access these features in two clicks makes it easy to edit cards.

However, on App Studios it's a different story. I have to click on Expand ⇒ These Triple dots ⇒ "Go to Card Details" ⇒ Click on the Wrench ⇒ "Drill Paths". This involves generating a new modal and creating a new page.

While it is only 3 more clicks, this becomes exponential when I have to go back and make small edits every few minutes across multiple drill paths within multiple cards. I am sure many people feel this frustration because it becomes almost mind-numbing when you have clicked over 200 times within 30 minutes solely for accessing cards and making edits. The fact card options is available on the Dashboard side and not on the App Studio side is confusing as I would assume everything the Dashboard has, the App will already have, but even more.

2. Include Breadcrumb mechanic to easily backtrack to Page from Card Details:

Another feature that already exists on Dashboards but not on App Studio is the "Breadcrumb"

In the Blue box, I am able to reference back to a specific page or parent dashboard by clicking on the name.

However on App Studio this is nonexistent

Looking at the Blue Box in the top left, it only contains the name of the Card itself, but no reference to where it is located or the parent page that holds the page. This creates an issue where I would have to click on the Apps page or App Shortcut and then click on the specific page I was working on. While I do recognize directly editing the card on the Modal will lead back to the page, there are cases where I will edit the card in the Card Details and I need to head back to the page I am working on, thus need the bread crumbs.

I hope this posts means well and I pray that this sort of implementation is easy. I assume since this already exists in the Dashboard, it shouldn't be difficult to solution this on App Studio.

You should be able to find all these options in the right panel when you click on a card.

@khushboo_ This is not an intuitive solution. I would have to click details at the bottom left of the page, then click on the edit button on the top right of the page details and then I will be able to click on the card to get those settings. As you can see, that is still more clicking and moving the mouse around than simply adding a card option button on each card. There is no need for me to "edit the entire page" if I want to edit a singular card.

Your solution also doesn't cover the breadcrumb issue I have brought up. What I don't understand is why are dashboard cards equipped with these capabilities, but these app studio cards aren't if app studio is designed to be an upgrade from dashboards.
