On a "Line Bar" Chart, display values for a third measure, with matching Legend entry

On a Line Bar chart, we had added a tool-tips hover over state that shows a third Measure. A user requested that we make these third measure values show permanently on the chart, so the viewer would be able to see all values at once.
Support was able to get the values to persist on all bars (without needing hover over) by adding the measure as an additional Series; however the legend entry for this measure appeared as an empty red box. That made it hard for the user to understand what the additional numbers meant. In other words, the user sees some unlabeled numbers on the chart along with a Legend item that doesn't match up with the format of those numbers.
Note: It turns out that the workaround used above is actually adding a second set of bars. However because the values for the third measure are so much smaller than the original bar values, the second set of bars is tiny and that is what makes it seem like the legend doesn't match up to the measure values on the chart. I have mocked up two examples: one showing how the chart currently looks, and a second one showing how I would like it to look.
We were unable to find a solution other than a Domo brick. That's beyond my current capabilities so I'm submitting this to request an easier solution for it be implemented.
Possible solutions:
- allow superposition of a second set of transparent bars over the first set of bars, with ability to control where the value labels are placed for both.
- create a new chart type that can display values for three measures, in some combination of lines or bars or value only.
- ???

- From my investigations, we are unable to edit the callout numbers like you're asking. It would make the chart more clear, and I'll be asking internally about this feature.
- For some more information, You can change font/style but not color. If this was put into a table card you can use HTML to change the colors but that's a whole different chart. If you want full flexibility, we would suggest using a Domo brick since you can write their own javascript, html, and css.
Mock up showing current workaround.
(note, the red bars are even smaller on the real chart)
Mock up showing how I would like the improved chart to appear.
