Chart Types to plot multiple date fields on the same axis

Assume I have a dataset that includes fields for Request ID, Create Date, and Complete Date, which I wanted to graph a time series chart with series for Requests Created (Count of Request ID grouped by Create Date) and Requests Completed (Count of Request ID grouped by Complete Date). Currently I would have to use an ETL to restructure the data to create a single date field to group by, but it would be helpful to have some native chart types available to simplify these types of visuals
