Further Custom Role Permissions Granularity

It would be ideal if, when adding permissions to a custom role from the admin features, the permissions were as granular as the individual options listed on the Admin menu. For example, we have UI/UX designers that need access to the Brand Kit but to do this, currently we'd have to allow them access to all company settings which is not appropriate.

    From what I've heard through the grape vine, this is something being look at. We have the same issue and we need more granular permissions so that we can give some roles 'admin-like' access to some features without giving them all the permissions an admin would have.

    If I recall what I heard is correct, work is being done to have much more granular permissions that you can assign to multiple roles, and then assign those multiple roles to a single person. The permissions from both roles then become additive, giving that person permissions from both roles in total.
