Interactive Tables with Writeback functionality

Hi There,

This may be a complex ask. But I think it could be extremely valuable. I would love to create a table powered by Domo for our planning team that is powered by Domo but would also have a dynamic user input field. This field would adjust calculations on the card but could also have writeback functionality.

In my basic example… if I have an inventory planner… They are looking at units sold, available inventory and getting a current inventory calculation. They could then enter a "TO ORDER" number in the table that would in turn calculate a new revised inventory. I would love it if that user inputed field would also have write back functionalities.

This would be very similar to excel functionality but allow for live updates and dynamic calculations.

You could explore if Inline Editing in the Appstore can work for you. I am using it right now to writeback on the dataset which is then used to trigger the ETL that enriches the master dataset. What I like about it is that you can update values of a dataset and write it back directly from the Card itself (powered by this app), you can also create drop down list options with prefix values. Downside is that there is an initial one time enablement cost, the app loading is slow at times and finally you can only update one cell at a time and no fill functions like you what you can do in Excel (fill updates multiple columns or rows at one time).
