Branding Kit - Custom Hex Color

I have created custom color palettes within the branding kit. I input the main hue HEX code, but the HEX code will alter unless I lock the color code— E.g., I inputted HEX #4422C88 but Domo alters the code to #4E3795.

1. Though this solution does work, is there a reason for the main hue HEX code to alter after I input the code or a way that the HEX code does not have to be locked?
   Additionally, I would like to change the gradient hues to match the Optum Branding.
2. I know you can toggle the hue and chroma (see attachment), but I am unable to attain the exact hue needed. is there a way to alter the gradient of the main hue by inputting an exact HEX code?
