You're very welcome ?

The only way that access to the data set can be hidden is if the user in question is given only participant access. Once someone has editor access, they have access to the data set to create new cards of their own or even to set card access.
-
There are at least a couple ways you could do this. For one, I assume that you have created the three groups you have in mind and shared the pages you want them to work on. Doing so you can choose which people have access to which information. However, if you want to assign cards/pages to work on for a particular project…
-
This sounds like a good method. Just remember that anyone with sufficient privileges who is shared a particular card will have access to the dataset that the card comes from to create their own cards. I would keep an eye on the users and what cards they are creating to help both encourage collaboration and to make sure…
-
Are you using the Twitter data connector, I assume?
-
I do not know of a place where this list can be downloaded, even though it can be viewed from the admin page. This may be a possible request to make for an export feature for admins.
-
Is there a group account for the project taskforce that you had in mind?
-
Do you wish to mark this thread as solved then?
-
I must admit I've never used a screen scraper, but I'd be curious to see which ones others like.
-
Could you share a screenshot of what you see in those views?
-
Are all of these cards coming from the same location, or are they coming from different pages?
-
Sadness :(
-
Have you checked the idea exchange to see whether that idea has been suggested yet? I seem to remember this coming up before: http://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-How-would-you-make-Domo/idb-p/Ideas
-
That sounds like a good idea to suggest in the ideas exchange, as suggested above.
-
The takeaway I get from this for the person who asked the question is that first they should set up some sort of bar graph or related card for the various key statistics, and then set alerts on those cards when they reach certain thresholds, or alternatively they could make a bar chart showing the "severity" from the table…
-
So you're saying you want the hitting of a given threshold to send you an alert messasge that your data is indicating that something requires immediate attention? Are there any threshold levels between a severity of 0 and 100?
-
Would you want these questions answered separately or do you want all of the various answers combined together?
-
So, I guess you're saying that if someone likes that idea they should vote it up, right? I suppose we could figure that this thread is solved because it is being worked on already, right?
-
If you believe your question has been answered, please choose a post as the solution so that this thread is marked as solved. Thanks ?
-
The page should still exist, but should only be able to be viewed by those with sufficient admin privileges.
-
Did you have any particular aspects of forecasting you were most curious about?
-
What Bulloko was saying was that if someone is an editor and you give them access to a particular dataset by giving access to a card, that they will always have access to that dataset if they build a card of their own off of that dataset. I suppose if you wanted to have a better way of ensuring who has access to what cards…
-
Yes, you would have to go to that user in the admin page and change their security profile to, say, participant.
-
I must admit that I have not checked it out, as I do not have any sorts of iTunes data to look at, but I definitely find it interesting, and I am sure at least some companies will be able to use that data.
-
I believe you are correct about that. They are not a standard feature, though, at any rate.
-
This is something I have looked for as well, and have not found it. Nevertheless, it would make a great idea to implement, and if you would like to make a proposal, it is something I would like to be able to see and use as well. When I went to Domopalooza in April, I saw dashboards similar to what you presented as part of…
-
It appears that in order to set any cards as favorites that the users have to have more access than just at the participant level, which only allows someone to view cards. Of course, allowing people to set cards as favorites would also give them the access to edit cards, so this is something that you will have to consider…
-
This is a worthwhile question, and also, an idea that is worth suggesting (if it has not been suggested before): http://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-How-would-you-make-Domo/idb-p/Ideas I am assuming that you want to create dashboards that meet the high levels of data density as that spoken of by Tufte and others, right?
-
I know that you can embed a table within a card, but at present, I do not know of a way to embed multiple elements in the same card. As I commented on your other post, I think this would be a good idea to suggest. The idea page can be found here: http://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-How-would-you-make-Domo/idb-p/Ideas
-
I don't know of a way to do this at present, but I think what you ask is good. Have you submitted this as an idea, to be able to design a more complicated card that has multiple charts/tables?
