This discussion probably belongs in the subforum for data sources. Nevertheless, is there any way that the data sources can be de-duplicated at the data source level? I am assuming here that the duplicates are the same in every field, right?
-
Problem solved?
-
It's good that you were able to find the solution :).
-
No need to apologize; sometimes you just need to work through the process of what you are doing.
-
You're very welcome; I'm glad to see it resolved ?

You're very welcome; I'm glad to be able to help.

What I was wondering is whether there was any chance that the results you got could be displayed on a table where the location information could be sorted more easily than the manual way you are now doing it.
-
Juan, is your format in Survey Monkey for the location information a fill in space or a drop down box? I must admit I've never used the survey monkey format, as I tend to be more on the excel side of business myself.
-
Yes, it is.
-
This is very interesting, and it sounds like a worthwhile question for one of the Domo developers.
-
I agree with you. Perhaps something on the order of an iterative experiment is needed. Since you know that it will upload manually, and will upload at least daily, but will not upload ever 15 minutes, perhaps you can simply try in fifteen minute increments to allow the most effective use of workbench and also allow for the…
-
Certainly so. Alright, so if the data is actually updating, but Workbench has trouble uploading it, and there is nothing in the data that is changing any of the parameters for the data flow, then the question is, what is causing the trouble for those particlar uploads? Is it just taking too long to get them all done in 15…
-
Now that's very interesting. Is the data that you're trying to update every 15 minutes actually changing that frequently?
-
That sounds like an idea you could suggest here: https://dojo.domo.com/t5/Ideas-Please-suggest-ideas-to/idb-p/Ideas I know that the question of what is displayed and where and how when it comes to the map data is something that has involved a large amount of discussion.
-
I can see how that would be very frustrating. Could you let us know if anything changes as a result of your test?
-
I think that you're correct that the scheduled jobs aren't running because something is stuck. Do you have any idea what changed between the before and after?
-
If you find an issue with one of those jobs, in workbench, you can manually validate and upload the file. This is a bit time consuming but will at least clear up the queue as fast as you can click and wait.
-
How are you importing your quickbooks? It is possible that one would need to create a beast mode calculation that would subtract certain categories from income, at least as a workaround.
-
It would probably be best for you to create two beastmode calculations, one that looks at the month a ticket was created, something like Month Created = Month (Created Date) and Month Closed = Month (Closed Date). Then you can simply look at the number of tickets by month based on that single number from 1 to 12. Of…
-
Are you able to save the temp table into a format that could be easily uploaded via workbench? .CSV comes readily to mind here as a possible format for a workaround.
-
As far as I know the summary numbers strictly deal with actual data themselves, although this would certainly be a worthwhile idea to suggest, as I imagine it could be useful to many people when looking at cards. Do you know where to suggest an idea for Domo?
-
I agree; I know I've had to explain to other users the reason why some dates look as they do.
-
Agreed with above comment.
-
Thanks for your questions. According to the Domo Admin screen, a Participant level user can only view cards (and only those cards they have been given access to):
-
That definitely looks like a chart type that would be useful for me in some of the kpi that I monitor.
-
Thank you; that does sound like a good answer, although it will be a fairly complicated task in my case. Fortunately, both the column names I was using in my .csv files and in the database are the same for the most part, so aside from linking some tables with custom information, it should be at least possible to do what…
-
In order to do that, though, one would have to have a column with the targets set for each region, right?
-
Is the file that the Account Executive names are coming from in the lookup also included in your dataflow to Domo?
-
I would think that it would be easier to set the multiple targets in the dataflow itself, where one could compare revenue/sales/etc. with the targets provided in your own data, so that the targets could be a part of the graph.
