Ahhh thanks so much this makes a lot more sense to me.
-
Ahh okay. So I tried the code snippit and I'm still getting an error. I've used Jupyter notebook and python numerous times at my previous job, so I'm not sure if it's the environment or I'm out of practice. I'm still getting that same error. I've added all columns to the schema too. Unfortunately Grant, telling me where to…

Will do! Thanks so much for your help! Also, did I apply that correctly? Like the FLOOR to the query?
-
Kind of like this? (CASE ROUND(AVG(FLOOR(DAYOFWEEK(`date`))),0) WHEN 1 THEN 'Sunday' WHEN 2 THEN 'Monday' WHEN 3 THEN 'Tuesday' WHEN 4 THEN 'Wednesday' WHEN 5 THEN 'Thursday' WHEN 6 THEN 'Friday' WHEN 7 THEN 'Saturday' END)
-
Oh my gosh I didn't even think to use DAYOFWEEK. It works well too! I was curious, do you think this returns there's a way to FLOOR or CEILING to get the lowest avg and highest avg to DAYOFWEEK?
-
Thanks so much with helping me on this and sourcing me with your content. Your vids have definitely helped me adjust to DOMO a lot easier. I'll have to look at this video later today.

(CASE WHEN `likes` IS NOT NULL AND `comments` IS NULL AND `shares` IS NULL THEN likes WHEN `comments` IS NOT NULL AND `likes` IS NULL AND `shares` IS NULL THEN comments WHEN `shares` IS NOT NULL AND `comments` IS NULL AND `likes` IS NULL THEN shares WHEN `comments` IS NOT NULL AND `likes` IS NOT NULL AND `shares` IS NULL…

I'll return once the window functions are fixed to accept to the solution. It could be my data maybe?
-
I've contacted my CSM. The window functions are enabled, but I will contact my CSM to see if there's a bug.
-
Oh no, I also am getting an error. It won't let me display this in a table.
-
Oh! Yeah, I want to get the percent of total on each domain separately, but I don't think it possible. And then a rank on each domain separately.
-
Ahhhh I see. Thanks so much for your help, I really appreciate it!
-
Discovered the issue from the mighty Onyx themselves. If you would like to use apply Windowed Functions, you will need to contact your CSM to enable Window Functions for BeastMode as it is a feature switch.
-
Oh the way you worded this is so much easier to comprehend. I was definitely looking at this in a more complicated mindset. Thanks so much!
-
Until you can prove that you applied your beast modes and the dataflow in DOMO and they were identical to what's in excel with screenshots that you didn't use my original contribution and effort columns, it's really not okay to be replying to other posts insinuating that this was answered instead of allowing me to get a…
-
I've used the dataflow and the beast modes you suggested and neither replicated what you displayed. So I don't know how the dataflow you gave me is incorrect on my table but not incorrect in yours. Effort is based off a column but you calculated both Contribution and Effort separately. I reposted this multiple times…

Is there someone else who can help me with this? If the result doesn't match the excel file, anything you provide will be incorrect. Can you please pass this to someone else? You've given me countless answers and every single one of them has been incorrect. I would really appreciate it if this could be passed to someone…
-
Are you comparing the results to the excel file I provided? Have you not looked at the formulas in the excel file I provided? This question is still not answered, is there someone else who could help?
-
Yes, but the answer you provided was incorrect and didn't answer my question.
-
I got the flow to work but the answers still are not the same as the table. I believe the table had originally been sorted by amount of users which occurs after you apply a rank anyways, but for some reason I don'/t think this can be done in DOMO.
-
Actually, I believe they sorted by User first now that I'm looking at it. That changes a lot of things.
-
Hey, so I'm not performing any sorts or filtering on this dataset, it started off all clean.
-
Thanks for helping me with this: I've attached a screenshot of the side-by-side results. Left (domo) Right (Excel)
-
I also noticed that the Rank & Windowing function does not allow me to put in a formula, it provides me with a drop-down list. Unfortunately, I'm not following how the Rank & Window function helps in this situation. I already have Rank in my magic ETL.
-
I have windowing, but how do I do that in magic etl? I'm new so understanding how to use it isn't my strong suit yet. Also, in beastmode, the contribution column is incorrect and doesn't match up with what is displayed in excel.
-
Is there a way to do this using magic etl as well? I don't think "OVER" is supported in magic etl.
-
Wow, it's so simple ? Thanks so much! I really appreciate your help!
-
Oh sorry I didn't clarify. From the SQL query I added, I was wondering if there's another way to run the query so that the percentile column I created in DOMO shares the same numbers as displayed in the Bottom 25 column in excel.
