Thanks, I submitted a few ideas, including this one.

Absolutely! I have so many card only beast modes. Saving to the dataset SHOULD be the default. Though one of the technical folks told me that card level beast modes are more efficient, but I don't like the card only beast modes.

There is another post about nesting beast modes, which I think is what you want: I know you posted first, but that post has more upvotes so far. I'd like to see this feature, too.

This has been possible in PowerBI for years - nesting beast modes. Domo should be able to do it.

Great idea. And as you move down the matrix and clear one group, then the sub total for the next group would stay fixed at the top until you get to the next row group. Is that what you meant?
-
@GrantSmith how do you use a fixed function to create a row number?

I need to batch the files from a single folder, so this won't work for me. There should be a check box just like in the excel transport type. Thanks for your response, though!

This is the one I am talking about: https://domo-support.domo.com/s/article/7508982399767?language=en_US

Please disregard. I can't seem to delete, but this was being caused by a data issue that I was unaware of.

For now I can manually update new users that are added to my group, but ideally, I would need to control landing pages at the group level. I upvoted the other post that @amehdad linked to. Thanks!

Thank you for submitting this. We need to be able to control the landing pages by group.

The fact that I first used Redshift is what caused the final output of column names to be lower case. When I changed to Magic, I made the columns upper case, but I did not go back and change the beast mode column names to upper case. The values displayed correctly in the card in analyzer, but when I tried to save the card,…

I got the answer from support. Initially, my dataset was processed through RedShift, which converts columns names to lower case. I built the beast modes with lower case column names. Then I added a Magic ETL to the end to uppercase the column names. I changed the column names in the beast mode to upper case and it saved…

Thanks guys - it was actually happening even last week, but I have a feeling it's something about our instance.

@MarkSnodgrass still an issue when creating a card from scratch, but thanks for the suggestion.
-
Yes, I did that. It's just that it won't save my card. The window functions works fine.
-
Thanks! It's too bad you can't use a folder. It would save a lot of time.
