@COWsupport have you looked at the Domo Public APIs? This may be a better option for your importing data needs: https://developer.domo.com/docs/domo-apis/data
-
I would copy and past the steps here, but the formatting and images do not come through.

The link above provides step-by-step instructions for connecting to OLAP Cubes, SSAS is a cube and should follow these steps. Is there a specfiic step or issue taht @RamuS is having issues with related to their cube integration?
-
@JoSaCh can you explain the process you went through to get to this issue? I am trying to zero in on what is causing the issue and I would like to confirm the process that leads to this. Main items are: 1.) Did a change happen in the 3rd party DataSource (i.e. Salesforce) and then the columns didn't update in Domo? 2.) Are…
-
@MarkFlachs That does seem strange. Can you provide some additional details: 1.) What version of Workbench are you using? 2.) Have you created cards (or any other Domo asset) on the original DataSet? 3.) Did you try changing the column names prior to the first upload of the DataSet 4.) What kind of data source is this…

@RamuS Can you let me know which version of Workbench you are currently using? Have you tried the instructions for connecting to OLAP in the Domo Help Center: https://knowledge.domo.com/Connect/Connecting_to_Data_Using_Workbench/Workbench_4/07Creating_a_Job_for_Uploading_Data_Using_Workbench_4 There is a section:…

It took a little while but I think I am understanding now. When you said 'field names changed in the API' does that mean that you changed these columns in the source system? In this case SFDC? Then when you came to Domo to old columns no longer show up in the dropdown/check list but you selected the new ones? Of the 15 old…
-
I would assume that you are doing and append on the DataSet when new data comes in, is that correct? Do you need to exclude th old columns explicitly? Based on what you have explained this is working as designed. You have a DataSet with 30 columns, you have this set up as an append update method. The DataSet runs and…

@sandeepghoghrey we are working on an updated version of Workbench 4 where you will install WB as an admin then run WB as a non admin user.
-
@Andrea_F is there new data coming into the old columns? Was the column change the addition of new columns or is this a change in the name of the column?
-
@molivares We do not have a connector for that provider, but we have a lot of ways to get data into Domo. Do you know if Simplicity Collection Software: 1.) Emails reports 2.) Allows for downloading reports as Excel or CSV 3.) Has an API that you could use to create a custom connector Some more information on what…

@chadmaughan any thoughts on what @woganmay is seeing with the APIs?
-
@woganmay are you using the APIs available here: https://developer.domo.com/
-
In your case I would recommend going with the APIs. https://developer.domo.com/docs/domo-apis/data
-
@manuwell are you thinking about a hosted DataBase that is in your DataCenter? A great option would be Workbench, it can be installed in your Data Center and then access the DataBase. Then the connection from Workbench to Domo is all that needs to be worried about. In this way you are not worrying about having the internet…
-
@adam2739 Then welcome to Domo! As you have ideas please add them here. Some of the things we are considering with Delete are: * Run Now * Scheduling * Pausing * Change Config * Copy (this would be one at a time but would help making multiple DataSets) Let me know if these posts are helpful, give the posts a like (it will…

You can find instructions for getting a token here: https://developer.domo.com/docs/domo-apis/authentication
-
@adam2739 today in Domo we do not have bulk actions in the Data Center. This is something that we are considering in the roadmap. If you are looking to do bulk removal you could use the Domo Data APIs which have a deletion option: https://developer.domo.com/docs/domo-apis/data#API%20-%20Delete%20a%20DataSet This can be…

@jferrara This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next release of Workbench. I apologize for the inconvinience.
-
@BruceVolpe See response above, give me a like if this answers your question.
-
@paynejg & @jeremyhurrencan you take a look at the error message above and see if anything jumps out at you?
-
Are your schemas the same or are you having to pull them into a common schema for the transforms? Would there be a reasonable expectation on my part that the transforms would have the same columns to use? I would suspect your issue is that it is the same machine with the same Agent ID.
-
@rado98 I think your suggestion here is to create an option to duplicate DataSet jobs in Workbench so that you don't have to go through the workaround you described above, is that fair? For some context, how many WB jobs do you have to create? Are they all roughly the same (same type, DNS, source)? I'll look into the error…

@kshah008 this should be moved to a differnt topic, this is not a Workbench item.
-
@tc I think the FAQs for WB4 will help you: https://knowledge.domo.com/Connect/Connecting_to_Data_Using_Workbench/Workbench_4/13Workbench_4_FAQs This covers things like encryption, access control and validation: "Workbench validates data and securely transfers data to Domo." if you need addtional insights please let me…

@juscook009 Here are some more specific links: Removing Users: https://knowledge.domo.com/Administer/Managing_Users_and_Groups/04Removing_Users_from_Domo Changing owner of the DataSet: https://knowledge.domo.com/Connect/Managing_DataSets/03Changing_the_Owner_of_a_DataSet These articles should help you through the process…
