Would you possibly be willing to jump on a call with me?
-
Thanks. I did end up switching over to using the Table transform. Still having issues though…
-
Just bumping this…. can anyone help me? maybe @GrantSmith Thanks.
-
Could somone possibly jump on a call to walk me through this? I feel like this is something that should probably only take a few mins for someone who knows what they're doing. But it take me hours of headaches until I give up…
-
I found this article which provides essentially the same solution and walks me how to do this via mysql. I've never used mysql in here before though… and the directions are a bit confusing to me. Can you advise what I'm supposed to do? I first created an output dataset which reduces the columns down to just two columns:…

solid. Thanks man.
-
thanks. How will that handle double spaces? Will it count a double or triple (etc.) space as a single space?
-
When they hover over the value in the legend, I want it to show the percentage - not the count. How do I do that?
-
oh, you mean up in the Y Axis value. Okay I did.. and nothing changed.
-
How do I set the y-axis to a number?
-
I have %_SERIES_NAME %_PERCENT_OF_CATEGORY in both. When I use %_CATEGORY_NAME, I get the month date. I'm not referring to hovering over the bars though… (that works - see screenshot 2). I'm referring to when you hover over a value in the legend. Is there a way to adjust this? It's really the only way on this chart people…

THANK YOU. @MichelleH

The proposed Regex is not working. This can't be that difficult! @GrantSmith or someone, can you please help me?
-
Thanks for the help @MarkSnodgrass
-
Would you be able to jump on a call with me to walk me through this? I can't continue burning time trying to figure this out.
-
Thanks… I sort of got this… though I guess you can't have color coding on multi-value cards??? (i.e. if its less than 50%, it's red, if over 90%, green, etc.) And there is some issue where it keeps converting numbers into percentages, which is just unbelievably frustrating. I have to say this is possibly the most…

what type of card is this?
-
Thanks @GrantSmith would that require the user to update the notes elsewhere (perhaps on a spreadsheet) and then upload into the dataset/ETL? Or is there a way for them to annotate directly in Domo?
-
Thanks @MarkSnodgrass that is the endstate of what I want and may resort to this approach. Wish I could do it without having to aggregate data in the ETL though.
-
@GrantSmith Right, I'm already doing something similar to that with a BM. The problem is with March of last year. I want it to show up in the bar chart on the very left side, but not in the line chart over the current month.
-
Thanks @MarkSnodgrass I watched your video, but not seeing a way to resolve my issue. Is there a way to do what I'm attempting? If it is multi-line chart, I can live with that.
-
Right… I'm just really surprised Domo has not developed this capability.
-
Well the problem is I do want March 2022 to show up on the very left side of the bar chart. What's happening is it is showing up there and also on the line chart on the March of this year. See illustration below. This can't be the first time anyone has wanted to show this type of bar/pop chart for just the most recent…
-
Please look at the screenshot of the chart I showed above. I know how to remove the current month. The problem I have is figuring out how to prevent the same month from last year showing up on the line chart (where I'm using the period over period comparison). How do I have the March data point completely removed (for both…
-
Yes, the problem I'm having is I don't want to show the current month. How do I show just the last 12 complete months? And then propertly compare them to the prior 12 months (without having an extra one comparing against today's month).
-
So... Domo wouldn't let me save the card. And now I lost all the updates. Before I spend anymore time on this, do you have a screenshot of what this might look like?
-
I've created variables Lines 1 and 2 as you instructed. I created the beastmodes as you instructed. I placed the beastmodes in the values (Y axis and series values)... and I get an issue. What I am I doing wrong here?
-
I still don't understand... I am attempting to create a variable as you stated... what am I doing wrong here?
-
@RobSomers Yes.... the problem with that is it also changes the format for how the values are displayed on the line. I want the axis to just show 5%, 10%, 15%, etc. and the values that appear on the line to have decimals (because they're so small). Same thing with the other axis which is in currency. I want it to be $5,…

Thanks Rob. I'm intrigued by your latter option... Can you elaborate further how I'd do this? Below is basically how my dataset looks: Date - Channel - Impressions - Clicks - Sales - Spend I then create beastmodes to calculate values such as CPC (spend/clicks), ROAS (Sales/Spend), CTR (Clicks/Impressions). These are the…
