Definitely makes sense. I just don't know how else to manage this stuff - Domo tells me that there are people with hundreds instances and I just can't imagine they're making changes to them one by one.

Ah, yeah, that's an idea. It wouldn't be quite what I'm looking for since I'd have to run it pretty often (and as we all know, runs = credits), but I could at least set it up to run every so often to catch any that the user doesn't alert me to.

I'm shocked that this is a thing. My customer spent a bunch of time creating cards for her board meeting, including descriptions on each that are needed to understand what's included in the report. Now she has to go either manually update every card or add text to every one in her powerpoint. She is NOT happy.

My subscribers do have the ability to create MagicETLs, but when I applied PDPs in the subscriber site (vs. just on what I was publishing to them), that ability went away. Thanks @DanBrinton. I actually started with Support (case 05851285) and they told me it was working as designed since we’re white labeling. However I believe we were able to disable white labeling and are therefore okay now.

I have this same question so would love to hear what you find out.

FYI in case anyone else comes across this - Support confirmed this was expected behavior for Domo Everywhere users. Users can share cards with the Edit Cards permissions but cannot share dashboards unless they have the Manage all Cards Pages and Data Apps permission.

This got me curious, so I did an experiment and gave my user every permission EXCEPT Manage all Cards, Pages and Data apps, and they STILL couldn't share their own dashboard! Guess it's off to Support!

Interesting… my user has both Edit Cards and Edit Pages and still can't share something they own.
