Are you using Workbench or uploading directly into Domo.com? For me, I usually need to refresh my browser before any datasets or cards reflect the new data. If you're uploading directly to your Domo.com instance, have you considered Workbench or a different connector? It may work better.

Moneyshot, not being able to delete your thread isn't a bummer at all. I had the same issue and found the solution thanks to you!

Thank you, Mark!

I had to disconnect. Who won the escape room? 🤣

These sessions should be more than twice a year. Just saying :)
-
Thank you, @MarkSnodgrass. That did the trick!

I'm not good at Beast Modes. So, I personally would just set the date range in the top right corner to stop on August 31st if it's available. 😅 The downside is that you have to remember to adjust the range at the start of each month. 🤔

It works manually. But, I'll try adding a new a new connector and see if that works. I hadn't thought to try that.

Thanks, I'll do that!

At my work, we use a local shared workbench server that's always running in the background for reports that need to updated regularly, usually around midnight (since we're rarely logged in at the time). While this specific server uses the same login, we use the "impersonation" function under "configuration" to access the…

Thank you for clarifying! I was really confused about this earlier today 🤦♂️

Hi Paulo, I'm not sure how to do this myself, but am very interested in learning how as well. Have you seen Making a top 5, bottom 5 filter card — Dojo Community (domo.com) or filter top 10 — Dojo Community (domo.com)? They may be useful for your situation. Otherwise, I'm sure one of the resident experts will come help!

Like zcameron said, I like being able to see how others are using DOMO and how I can use it to support my company. I love the fact that there is such a robust community that I never have to wait long for someone to assist me. I still have a lot to learn about how to use DOMO effectively. But, what I do know for sure is…

NVM, I selected "Upload even if data hasn't changed" in the configuration and it worked.

So, I am trying to do the append rows, but then everything else becomes null except for the rows that came back null during my joins. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried doing select rows to get rid of anything that would be a duplicate, but then I started having null data issue again for 3 columns.

What are the cases where it can't return the data? because I'm banging my head against a wall trying to figure out why the ETL keeps dropping my data on a full join. Also, the linked video is blocked at my work due to being on box.com.

I tried searching for those posts, but I couldn't find any related to what I'm trying to do. That being said, I found one with a mysql code you wrote: select d.`dt` as "Report Date", date_sub(`dt`, interval '0' year) as "Comparison Date", 'Current' as 'Period Type' from `calendar_dates` d UNION select d.`dt` as "Report…

@GrantSmith I tried using the steps in other posts and keep getting error messages. @jaeW_at_Onyx would your week-based data table youtube vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UO9YUfkSh7I help with the above suggestion?

So, I have tried the period over period cart types, but haven't been able to get it to work. The thing is, I am trying to do two comparisons. First is our actual results to an expect standard: And 2nd, this year's results vs. the previous year for comparison. Unfortunately, I've only been able to do one or the other as…

@ST_-Superman-_ Thanks for your response! I am looking at 2 options for the trendline based on what Domo can do. 1) If possible I would just want to show how the values have increased, decreased, or stayed the same overtime in a straight line instead of peaks and valleys. or 2)I would like the line to be filtered to a…

Thanks so much for posting these instructions, Mark! I was struggling with how to do this as well. Have a great day and weekend!
