I can webex with you this afternoon and explore it with you, if you'd like. What time zone are you in?
-
Sort by Date then Sales. If that doesn't work, do the opposite.
-
Hello @user18811 - Did my response meet your needs? I am close to my next badge for solutions, and would love to earn it before Domopalooza! Thanks!

It's true that the titles are plain text, but you can do some really cool stuff with the summary numbers. it can take some cajoling, so I am providing a sample that I have verified works. Friends and I have found that tect must be concatenated for it to work, even if only one value is present in the concatenation. I think…

As it turns out...The issue was due to the developer using the wrong fields as transaction identifiers. The field used were sometimes null, and there were more robust options available.
-
@DataSquirrel - This post is another reminder of why you are one of my favorites on the Dojo! For the Governance Tables - You have to generate an API key. You can find this under Admin -> Security. If you want to webex, I'd be happy to show you how I recommend setting them up. I just did it with someone else yesterday.…

I doubt it - I stay within Domo as much as possible. There's very little I have found greatly improved by pushing outside Domo.
-
I'm sure that if you write it up on the ideas exchange and tag each of us, we will drop some likes for you. That's the best way to get attention to it.
-
An option which would enable you to monitor all your datasets in one visualization would be to use the datasets in the new Governance connector. If the frequency doesn't lend itself to a simple calculation, you could set up a webform with the datasets you'd like to monitor, and a value for the frequency which would…

Good thinking @rado98 on those first few weeks! @user17569 - Make sure to let us know what works, and if there's anything we can add.

Ooohhh...So it's the headers that you are wanting to not get cut off. I thought it was that you wanted to see the content a certain way. I totally agree with you, as specifics about the column headers comes up a lot. I wonder if there is a way to force that...Though it may be entering a land of too much work for too little…

Looking at the info you sent, I am not thinking it's the null issue - though that's a good tidbit for you to keep in your back pocket! I notice that one account's value is high, and another low, which I think eliminates 2 scenarios: 1. Null value issue - Would expect both variances to reflect a low result. 2. Faulty join -…
-
I'm looking over your attachments, but wanted to address the null value issue quickly. The bottom line - Domo HATES null values! I've had many times where I've had issues with them on cards. For example, I know I have had pie charts before where one segment is representing those records with null values, and when you…

I think this thread will be helpful to you. Rather than copy - Thought it would be best for you to have the context so that I don't leave anything out that may be helpful to you. https://dojo.domo.com/t5/Beast-Mode-ETL-Dataflow/Nested-Concatenations-in-Beast-Mode/m-p/38064#M6211

It's giving the right number, but wrong label? Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing and what you want to see?
-
Folks here won't be able to get to that link. Can you share a screenshot? Thanks!
-
It's tough without seeing the dataflow or datasets, but I feel like this might have something to do with null values. Do the modifications done during reconciliation have TXNumbers? If not, run a transform before your ranking, which fills all null values with a value. If TXNumber is a text field, you could make this…

@user02737 - Did my solution or @ST_-Superman-_ 's solution help you? If so, please mark one or both of them as solutions. Thanks!
-
Did this help? Do you need anything additional to mark solution? Thanks much. Hope your issue is resolved.

@TacoShelly - Hi Shelly - I think this would be great to share with the group. I am ordering this one immediately! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1572229160/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

We may need to see a sample of columns and values. That being said, try putting a MAX function in front of the second WEEK statement. This way, you're taking all the weeks which are within 4 weeks of the most current week. At some point, you'll need to aggregate the Sales, but perhaps you're doing that in the output. If…
-
As an additional note to this - Something annoying I have found. The newer file uploader has a size limitation. I don't recall the exact size, but it was pretty small.
-
That is fantastic!!! Great work @DBandrew!!!
-
Is the field you're trying to sort in Date format or Text format?
-
You probably need to do a group by after your append to get them all on the same rows. The "first non null value" function has saved me many times! I can't look at the attachments from my phone, so that's my blind answer, having bumped into similar issues.
-
@TacoShelly - I think one of your solutions may work for this.
-
2 options to try... 1. Select the option to wrap text. 2. Play with the column width settings. ***Sometimes adding an additional column, setting a width, and hiding it will make the output behave better.
-
That's what @ST_-Superman-_ posted. He just didn't have a failed ETL to show in a screenshot. Shouldn't he have the solution?
-
Thanks for sharing that resource @Valiant ! I have a table with the annual rates our company uses for each year. It'll be nice to be able to also incorporate fresh rates. This would even make it possible to build a tracker to see when rates change substantially, using a recursive query.

Boo! That's too bad! Here's the upside...When working in Domo, there is always something new that you learn that makes you realize there was a better way to do something. You'll probably do it even better this time! I put a like on your message to get you rolling in the Dojo. Make sure to keep it fun and treat your Domo…
