As it turns out...The issue was due to the developer using the wrong fields as transaction identifiers. The field used were sometimes null, and there were more robust options available.

I doubt it - I stay within Domo as much as possible. There's very little I have found greatly improved by pushing outside Domo.

It's tough without seeing the dataflow or datasets, but I feel like this might have something to do with null values. Do the modifications done during reconciliation have TXNumbers? Is the field you're trying to sort in Date format or Text format?

You probably need to do a group by after your append to get them all on the same rows. The "first non null value" function has saved me many times! I can't look at the attachments from my phone, so that's my blind answer, having bumped into similar issues.

@TacoShelly - I think one of your solutions may work for this.

2 options to try... 1. Select the option to wrap text. 2. Play with the column width settings. ***Sometimes adding an additional column, setting a width, and hiding it will make the output behave better.

Thanks for sharing that resource @Valiant ! I have a table with the annual rates our company uses for each year. It'll be nice to be able to also incorporate fresh rates. This would even make it possible to build a tracker to see when rates change substantially, using a recursive query.
