I can see the value in this. I wonder: is this more about presenting a curated, streamlined end user experience?; or is it more about securing sensitive data? or is it both?
-
Hi, @GrantSmith - you should now be able to delete custom roles. Let me know if not! Thanks!
-
Hi, @Byboth - an editor-type user is able to delete their own dashboards by navigating to the Pages list in Admin Settings. Hope that works for you! Let us know if not.

I want to make sure I understand. Are you saying you want a user to have editor-type access to only SOME datasets, cards, and pages; and have participant access to all the others?
-
Hi, @jimsteph - the Activity Log report in DomoStats includes a column "Client_ID", which gives the client ID of the API client used in performing the logged activity. Does that give you what you need? (Note: unfortunately, we don't currently have a similar type of information for actions taken using a Domo access token)

Hi, @amehdad - thanks for posting here! I want to make sure I understand. It seems like you're talking about a couple of ideas: Allow sharing a card with a user without giving that user access to the underlying raw data Allow usage of scheduled reports without allowing exports (or vice versa) Do I have that right?

Hi, @user097682 - thanks for posting here! User privileges in Domo are governed by roles and grants. But, I assume the standard "Editor" role is too much privilege. It would be helpful to understand what privileges you want your users to have, and then we can compare that with the existing capabilities of grants. Sounds…

Hi, @Shatz - thanks for posting your idea here! Really, I see a couple of different ideas: Allow a "people-manager" sub-admin-type user to assign roles to other users without giving them the ability to assign any role. So, you'd need governance around which roles are assignable by those sub-admin users. Allow a…

Hi, @Mary_Moilanen - thanks for posting your idea here! A user with Edit Cards and Edit Pages should be able to share cards and pages. If you're having a different experience, I wonder if maybe there's a problem with the ownership of the cards or pages. If you're still having this problem, please submit a support case to…

Hey, @MarkSnodgrass and @DataMaven - thanks for the feedback here! The idea of a central identity is interesting.
-
Hi, @user064367 and @Michelle_C_Cameron - Thanks for the great feedback. As you may already know, this capability has been released! Please check out the "Scheduled Reports" and "Scheduled Report Recipients" reports in the DomoStats connector. Please let us know if these reports still don't quite give you what you're…
-
Hi, @TheLookout - thanks for the follow-up question. I'm happy to report that you CAN set custom user attributes in bulk using the User Management tool in the Governance Toolkit. This functionality was released just within the last couple of months. Please find general documentation on the User Management tool here: . But…

Hi, all, Thanks for the feedback here! As you may already know, Domo has release custom trusted/managed attributes. Please have a look at the KB here: @DomoDork, this is an interesting idea about an attribute hierarchy. Can I suggest you post your comment again in a new thread so others can respond to it?

Thanks, @Ashleigh and @ColemenWilson!

Hi, @SherryR. Good feedback, here. Thanks for sharing! Access tokens are interesting because they can be used several ways, including in connector accounts, as you noted. I agree it would be helpful to have better insight into how tokens are used. I'll discuss this with my team. Thanks again for sharing the feedback!

Hi, @akeating. Thanks for flagging this up! Our engineering team are aware of this and will be working on it.
-
Hi, @ColemenWilson, @MichelleH and @Ashleigh. Thanks for the feedback! With such a large body of Social users, I can see how the requests would become a burden. Would you want to remove that button entirely? Or would you rather have more control over what happens when someone clicks the button? Will you allow me to broaden…

If I understand you correctly, I believe we have this functionality now (let me know if I'm missing something). Check out the section "Specify Alert Conditions" in our KB article and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Hi, @Jesus_Asenjo, I'm not sure about this. I'm doing some research and I'll let you know what I learn.

Hi, @lilia. I believe the reason you weren't seeing video views was because of the "Data Level" setting you chose (auction_campaign). Please try changing that setting to "AUCTION_AD". It is basically what mentioned previously: some metrics may not be supported depending on the particular way you've configued the connector;…

Hi, @lilia. I'm not familiar with the TikTok API, so I don't know what data it provides. It could be that some metrics are only provided for specific types of API calls (the API call executed by the Domo connector depends on how the connector is configured). You could create a new TikTok Ads connector and experiment with…
-
Hi, @lilia - are you using the TikTok connector, or the TikTok Ads connector? The TikTok connector is third-party, meaning created by a Domo partner or customer, not Domo itself. I did a quick look into the TikTok API, and it seems video views (listed as "view_count") should be included in the result, assuming I'm looking…

@RJTracy - thank you! Very clear information there. You mention charging credits - does this apply only to customers on consumption pricing/deals? Or does it also apply to the old row- and user-based pricing models?

Hey, @DawsonKent - I had some communication with Chris Wright about this months ago and I got the impression that they opted for "archive" rather than "delete". @ckwright, any thoughts on this?
