@RichardM are you using filter cards or the default filters at the top of the page? I usually try to use filter cards which bring my users attention there instead of the default filter menu.
-
@domoexpert sorry for the late response! It def sounds like it could be something buggy, I would double check notification settings and maybe set up another alert to see if that one gets triggered.
-
what was your alert criteria?
-
Since they are all their own beast mode that is why the drill won't work since you are trying to drill on a calculation. Try doing the mega table like Mark mentioned or using a Pivot table, the pivot table won't have the heatmap options though but you might be able to use color rules.
-
Is each one of those columns a different beast mode ?
-
What chart type are you using?
-
@derekok what does your top card look like? Sometimes it depends how the card is built or what the user clicks on which could prevent it from giving the desired outcome. If you have a BM for each calculation then it won't let you drill. Can you show a picture of what analyzer looks like for your top card?
-
You may also be able to select your date field and do a unique count or maximum and have it alert you on that
-
For me it shows up at the top
-
Are you trying to set up the alert on the card or on the dataset?
-
You can also set a dataset alert that tells you when a new row is added. Just select whatever options make your rows unique in the last section.
-
and a way to click/multi select to add fields instead of having to drag them over.
-
Its not a dashboard solution but one feature I always overlook is the data warehouse tab in the datacenter. It is very easy to see all connectors and what is having issues, its also super ways to rerun things right from there instead of having to go directly to the dataset.
-
I agree, having the ability to filter the rows when in edit mode would be very beneficial.
-
@muahmmad_zaidi Instead of using headers on dashboards I opt to use notecards since they give you much more flexibility into how you want your header to look. You can change the interaction on the card so that interactions are disabled which prevents anyone from being able to click on the card.

@LeslieMorel if you don't see the option shown in the screenshot it could be a permissions error. We have custom roles in our instance and I noticed only our admin role could see all those options in the dropdown.
-
@Vivarafa you can also use the split column tile in magic and set it to split on the phrase right before the value, you can use that a couple times on the >< characters until you get your amount. There are also split functions in the formula tile you could use as well.
-
@M_Bianco1 here is a similar thread discussing the topic
-
Also, @deona720 this use case looks super cool and I would love to see the end result!
-
I'm not sure if this info helps but here is another video about SVG chart in Domo from our resident custom chart expert @MarkSnodgrass. There is also a KB article with some info .
-
@Aag2023 there are also some great videos on YouTube about recursive flows. @jaeW_at_Onyx has a few that I know are great.
-
@kav_100 you can also try to use fixed functions in a beast mode, its like doing a group by but in a card so you keep all your granularity.

After investigating we have discovered they were in Quarantine. My IT person said the emails are coming from "not domo" and that the authentication that proves that the source is "valid" and authorized by domo doesn't match their records. I am not entirely sure what this means but it was weird that it was only effecting a…

@ArborRose there are ways to get more information using the admin settings but governance/domostats datasets are usually easiest to connect all the dots since its all broken out in admin settings. There are some premade quickstarts in the appstore that may be useful as well.
-
We recently went through the same thing and we just went in and changed all of our user's emails after the switch. You should be able to use the bulk import feature. I recommend exporting a list of all your users and then auto update all the emails and then reimport it. Definitely agree with @trafalger, always have a…
-
I have never had to add people to the Default group, by default it always just has all my users in it. You may want to try creating a new group for this use case if it is for sharing a specific dashboard.
-
Yes I have mentioned it a few times! Even just being able to box things in and maybe highlight them a bit would be a step in the right direction. Remember when tiles didn't have notes? haha we have come a long way!
-
Also it is not very intutive but for a manual update you just have to remove a trigger if there is one. I kept thinking Manual Update would be an option in the dropdown with Dataset Update and Schedule Options.
-
@WorldWarHulk you may also be able to use smart text to add when the data was last updated in the card title or description. To get connected with DomoStats go to the appstore and search for Domostats, you will need a token in order to set up an account.
