I was having trouble sorting the categories in a Pivot table card. Despite trying all kinds of sorting options in Domo (Analyzer, Card itself, custom sorting, etc), I never managed to get a specific category in the correct order. This was because this category had a null value for the first column of the table. Nevertheless, I still wanted the category's row to be in the correct place. After contacting support, I learned this is expected behavior so I submit the idea of being able to enforce our sorting even when any given category in a Pivot table has null values in the first column.
In the example below, the column "Dim. 3" should be sorted alphabetically but with "Vazio" and then "Total" as the last values in the order. However, "Vazio" always came last regardless of the sorting applied. Bear in mind that the value "Total" is an actual string/category and not the automatic total row.
I realize the example shows values in alphabetical order but this is a coincidence ("Vazio" happens to be the last word in this order). The behavior was the same when the category was not supposed to be last in alphabetical order, such as "Diamante", for example.
