In an app, you have to access the standard date filter via the 'Controls' button. This can be confusing and unintuitive for the end users of our reports, and it would be helpful to be able to put the filter options (like 'This Year', 'Last Month', etc) on the actual page itself, similar to a slicer in Power BI and other visualization programs. While this can be partially replicated by using a card as a filter, that only allows you to use one date field as the filter. If you have multiple cards with different dates as their respective date filters, the date filter in 'Controls' is the only one that can filter all of them.
