Description:

Currently, in the embedded environment, the left-hand navigation does not fully support displaying parent/child tab structures or inner tabs when certain configurations are applied. Specifically:

1. When navigation icons are hidden or disabled, the left navigation displays an empty tab name instead of the expected hierarchy.
2. The behavior differs from the App Studio environment with top Navigation, where the functionality works as intended.

This limitation creates challenges for users who rely on embedded reports for client-facing use cases, as it disrupts the user experience and navigation flow. For example, enabling navigation for each tab resolves the issue but does not align with the desired parent/child structure, making it less intuitive for end-users.

Proposed Solution:

Enhance the left-hand navigation functionality in the embedded environment to:

• Support proper display of parent/child tab structures.
• Ensure consistency between the embedded environment and App Studio similar to top navigation which works fine.
• Allow seamless navigation even when icons are hidden or disabled.

Use Case:

This enhancement is critical for scenarios where embedded reports are shared directly with clients. A consistent and intuitive navigation experience improves usability and ensures that reports meet professional standards.
