Hide default "Choose Date" filter in App Studio

I have pages in my App that use individual dates instead of a date range. To work around this, I created a filter where the user can select an individual calendar date.

However, since you can't hide/disable the default "Choose Date" filter, users are confused on which filter to use.

    It can be done. You need to go to edit screen of app, Click anywhere in the screen, make sure you are not clicking on any component. This will open up the page setting, then click on filter options and disable the global date filter.
