Date Range Selector with Calendar Days

The current date range picker on domo only allows you to select days by date, meaning if stakeholders need to look at a particular day of the week to spot bugs, for example, which happened last Wednesday, they'd need to open a calendar to check what date it was on said day… it's a relatively small change but will for sure impact Domo regular users positively.

Exposing the day of the week is a great idea, and build on thoughts I've routinely had that I would love to see some adjustments to the calendar/date-based filter.

It really doesn't function like any other tool in Domo, and I find it super cumbersome. As a workaround, sometimes I build date filters as dropdown menus with a selection picker (rather than range), but that lists all the dates New>Old or Old>New, and doesn't indicate min/max, etc. The min/max range filter card is a decent option because you see the dates displayed, but it's very hard to drag the slider to precisely the right point.

If anyone from Cards/product wants to talk through potential enhancements for the date range selector filter card, or just usage of date fields in general, please reach out.
