History for Connectors

I had an experience today where I was duplicating a Big Query connector and accidentally overwrote the production connector. Fortunately I had already copied the query out of that connector and pasted it in the new one before overwriting but if I hadn't I would have had to build that query from scratch. It would be great to a settings history for connectors so that the settings can easily be rolled back. This would also come in handy when creating new connectors and testing out various settings. A history would allow you to roll back to the settings that work best.

BONUS: Add a feature where you can create a new connector using any of the settings in this settings history.
