Public embed URL length

Current public embed URL has 5 characters by default. There is a risk of someone being able to brute force our current public embed URL. Do we have a way to make the random strings in our public embed URL’s longer. This increases the Security drastically while allowing the sharing of cards and pages.

The alternative is to use the private embed URL, however, it requires Domo license and necessary permissions.

Even though there are over 60M short-code combinations, you are correct that someone could brute force their way to find one. By choosing to use a Publicly embedded link, you are opening yourself up to that possibility by choice. If you are concerned about someone finding your content, I would suggest utilizing our private embed and locking that down behind authentication.
