Highlighting slicers/filters based on another metric

Please tell me if I've missed this as an already-submitted suggestion. I didn't see it, but I'll withdraw this and upvote another if it already exists.
For the filter cards, I would like to have the option to have logic-controlled highlighting of values. For example, suppose a business pays employees on the 1st and 15th of every month, and designates the periods by year and number; Ex: 2022-p01, 2022-p02, ..., 2022-p24. It's simple enough to create the slicer, but I would like to call out the various slicer values to the user as "past", "current", and "future". It's easy enough to create a beast mode to designate that in the data, but there is no way to highlight that. So, I'd like a configuration that says, in effect:
If 'is_current' = 'past', make this red background
If 'is_current' = 'current', make this green background and bold text
If 'is_current' = 'future', make this blue background
Here's a mockup as it would look today:
Now the user can easily tell which is the current pay period.
Hopefully I haven't been too specific in my example. Simply being able to highlight/format entries according to some other attribute's value would be very useful.
