Revisiting some older suggestions, it's still excessively fiddly to lock cards

If the lock option could be turned on by default this would be great, also giving us the lock option inside of analyser would make more sense than having to remember to go into the detail view after every card created to tick the box or do a batch lock via admin

@TC111 why? most users should not have edit rights to the card...

there are apis that will allow you to loop over all the cards in an instance, and surely enable a lock, but in most cases if you're managing roles and groups appropriately, most users should not be able to edit content.

@jaeW_at_Onyx Can you point me to those APIs? We have a large population of editors and do not want them copying and then accidentally editing something on our main dashboards.
