Import Color Rules

It would be great if we had the ability to import color rules from another card. That would save a lot of time when we want to have similar color rules built on the same fields on different cards, but we don't want to save the color rules on the dataset. Here's a rough example of what the UI could look like.

We are looking at a few ways to solve this need. It might be solved by our project to add chart templates that can include color rules. Helpful to better understand your use case. Thanks for the idea.

Thanks for the update. The ultimate goal of this feature would be to allow color rules to be easily shared across cards whether the cards are on the same dataset, or on a different dataset (with the same column names and categories).

For cards on the same dataset: The current feature of saving the color rules on the dataset is a good first step, but it's difficult in instances where you don't want the color rules to apply on a particular card. I don't see a way to ignore the dataset color rules on a case-by-case basis so I rarely use that feature.

For cards on different datasets: If the color rules of card A powered by dataset 1 are applicable to the same columns in Card B powered by dataset 2, then it would be helpful to have a way to quickly replicate the color rules between the cards.
