Include date parameters as part of the filter when drilling down and filtering a Gantt Chart

I have many use cases where I have a lot of data charted in a Gantt chart. I would like the functionality added so that when a user double clicks on a specific rectangle on my chart, only the records represented in that rectangle pull up in the drill down, and likewise, in any cards linked to that Gantt chart card for filtering. Currently, the filters utilize the item and category, but do not reflect the time period in question. All of my charts have a defined start and end. I would like to see the current Gantt function this way, or a new Gantt created that would support it. Initial solution offered by DOMO was to ask users to add those filters, but this is not a great option for my case.
