Guidance on creating a data table using APIs

Hi,

 

We are exploring the opportunity to create our own app via the APIs documented here (https://developer.domo.com/docs/dev-studio/dev-studio-overview).  We currently have a mega table with 6 filters in story/embed mode deployed through a PDP-enabled dataset (10M records).   We are considering an app so that we can display additional input fields used to re-calculate the data table and/or save the additional information.  Looking for the dojo community for some guidance on:

 

1)  Are there additional code samples outside of the dev-studio walkthrough?  That might touch on creating input fields, leveraging existing filters or mega table built within domo? 

2)  How best can we leverage domo.js and the APIs to achieve what we want?  Should we deploy the data tables referenced in the sample app - and will it be able to handle the amount of records?

... it's unclear what you're trying to accomplish.

 

You can use pfilters in URL strings to filter cards:  https://dojo.domo.com/t5/Card-Building/Filter-Page-via-URL/td-p/23967 and use an app to generate url strings. 

 

Not sure if that's what you had in mind.
