Thanks - actually upgrading to Domo 5 solved all issues without any other intervention

Actually I rebooted PC and they all came back!

I escalated this to Domo support - turns out they were sending entirely the wrong error message, and actually it was a normal SQL error due to the format of the data, but their error messagewas wrong

Thanks very much -worked perfectly!

Thanks, but is it possible to create a categorical dimension in beast mode? It seems that you can only creatre calculated metrics, not dimensions. Are you creating metrics e.g. sum of revenue from january, as opposed to a month dimension

Thanks for the response - so I followed the instructions in the recursive ETL thing exactly, and I saved it without running it, but then the next day after it had run it just replaced the whole table and the output was only yesterday. The only thing I'm not sure about is the settings in the flow for updating it…

Thanks I'll give that a try

I thought of that, but I can't seem to see a way to do it where I am not creating a whole new dataset, i.e. massively increasing my row count because I am duplicating the whole original dataset in order just to append some data - do you know if it is possible just to append tom the actual source table?

I'm uploading CSV not selecting source data like that
