Have you tried to swap the table positions in your join? Currently there is a limitation in Magic ETL Beta that the table on the left can not have more than 10000 duplicate values. The linked card does not have data past Feb. the Beast Mode is looking for data 1 and 2months ago (currently March and April). 

@RobynLinden This ticket is still open. Engineering did make some changes with the latest release, but I have sent them your feedback. I was able to reproduce the different views from large and detailed like you described, and I will update you as soon as I hear back from them.
