I think this is a great idea! If I could suggest another idea to do two view permissions (with and without sharing) in the hierarchy. It gets hard to control access to datasets when datasets automatically get shared when a dashboard/card is shared with people individually. We are exploring using directory groups to control…

It would also be nice if the dashboard owner could assign individuals or groups default filters instead of using PDPs. Scenario: A sales dashboard using 4-5 widely-used datasets to show sales metrics specific to each AVP. Since the PDPs restrict access to all cards using the datasets, we just want to filter this one…
