@Jarren Glad you figured it out!!
-
@sbutterbrodt I think you uncovered something. I just tried too and get the same results. I would suggest emailing Chris Wright at Domo and showing your example: chris.Wright@domo.com
-
@Jarren Thanks. Truthfully, this is a bit difficult to help without seeing context. I'm happy to give 30 min if you are free and willing to share your screen, but if not I hope you can figure out what's going on: Feel free to book 30 for tomorrow if you want to:
-
@Jarren and can you share a screen shot of what Totals looks like under chart properties?
-
Hi @Zel , I hope I can help. Here is where I have some SQL formulas to help: If you look at "Round dates to previous monday" you can see this formula: Date-weekday(Date -1)+1 (if doing in a beast mode). Let me know if that helps
-
@david_cunningham I think @SwapnaE for instance wants the goal line (orange horizontal lines) to change dependent on like if someone new is chosen in a filter or something. @SwapnaE, unfortunately that "goal" is hard coded. Your better bet is to use a different chart like bullet where now you can add in a goal per person…

@Jarren trying to also help here. Just want to confirm that the columns are numeric. When you add columns to the top of analyzer where it says columns are they green or blue? A screenshot would help too.
-
Hi @Armin , I'm trying to answer this one too, but struggling because I don't really understand the problem. If possible, can you show a screenshot of what you are seeing and why it's wrong? Like your formula works if you only show Customer ID 1 in a table with status, but won't work if you show customer ID 2 because the…
-
Hi @Armin , So when you run this, what is the result you see and why is it incorrect?
-
@Zel Hope this helps:
-
@pauljames Here you go:
-
Thanks all!! So grateful and really love the community…except when it comes time to Demo Slam…then it's a free for all! Ready to see you all at Domopalooza!
-
I have gone from Gandolf the Grey to Gandolf the White!
-
@pauljames You may need to put a filter before this alter step to filter out rows that are text before you do the alter. So you probably need to first get a list of all unique values and see if there are a lot of text values
-
Hi @zfeinberg , Not sure if this will help, but I hope it does:
-
Hi @zfeinberg , So all of these numbers divided by month 0?
-
@hecl3 Here's my video on how to do this using a CAST function:
-
I need some popcorn when I watch @GrantSmith and @MarkSnodgrass going to battle over these points.
-
Hi @John_Bridges , If the dimension is a filter you can add that. Is that what you're trying to do?
-
Hi @Stephanie_Price , I made you a video on how I would approach this and it's very possible: I had to make some assumptions like @ST_-Superman-_ was asking, but I think we got it.
-
@John_Whited As a fellow John with an H I would love to be friends!!! Also, I have courses on Domo so feel free to signup for a free 14 day trial:
-
Hi @John_Whited , First, love meeting other Johns with an H in their name. Jon's are untrustworthy. Second, I made a quick video for you with a possible solution:
-
@pauljames oh okay! I think there is a way to do an automated report if you can hit the Walmart merchant center
-
Hi @pauljames , So all the grocery company reporting sites are pretty bad. I've done this with Walmart and I think we had to do manual copying and pasting each week. There are some other options, but I think you need a Merchant ID.
-
Hi @shreeyab , How are you gathering the inputs of when an incident happens?
-
@JasonAltenburg , we need to sync up regarding Domo for Good!
-
I'm so honored!! @GrantStowell I keep my thin figure by only eating and breathing Domo.
-
@hunter_brown , Feel free to schedule some time. Might be easier just to see what you're working with than back and forth messaging:
-
Hi @Victoria_G1 , so you'll need a new formula that says "Case when (formula you have above)='None' Then 1 else 0 end and then you can sum those 1's.
-
Hi @hunter_brown , Oh okay helps a bit more. For append, can you choose "include all columns" instead of "create transaction type (CC)" and see what that does to your numbers?
