Weird! So I brought the data in via Query (PSQL connector) and now both the card and beast mode work as expected! *** above i was using a federated connection. So now my question is — why does it work via DB connector but not via federated connection? It's the same dataset…..

@MichelleH Every row is either a pass/fail/exclude. And it is not possible to have passes and failures on the same row. You can see above on the 1st Screenshot that i have a pass_count and fail_count field. If the action resulted in a pass then the pass_count will be 1 and the fail_count will be 0. If this is empty — then the filter will not show all the available options to filter on. Currently shows 3 out of 50. Before it was working fine, but as of today — i have to go through all my dashboards and make sure that something is in the "optional group by" which doesnt seem very "Optional" to me.

It may not be what you're looking for, but you could change your Font Size (Chart Properties → General → Font Size) to Largest. This should take up more space. You can also adjust the height of the rows to take up more space.
