私は、計算や可視化用のデータ列とは別に、表用のデータ列をBeastModeで作成して対応しています。 桁数を計算し、有効桁数により場合分けして、CASTでテキストに変換して作るイメージです。

内部計算用の列と、表示用の列（BeastMODEでCASE文でテキスト化）を分けられてはどうでしょうか？
