Creating repository in Sandbox

 What would be the best way to create a repository with all cards (over 500 cards) referencing one dataset and is there a quick way to remap all cards once promoted to the sandbox instance?

However, would like to confirm if the best way to create a repo of a lot of cards is to promote them as a dashboard or page? But no fast way to remap them to a dataset?
