Creating custom cards in custom app

I have gone through the developer.domo.com and build one custom app using a sales-hero from git. I have built it, but I am not getting how to change the visualizations like changing the graphs and the interactive changes which are similar to inbuilt app. Please let me know how to go further. Respond ASAP. Thanks

    Did you use domo.js to get data from a dataset? That will enable you to change the graph to match the data.

    Yes i used domo.js but its not working. Can i know is there any videos or documentations for complete creation of custom cards and custom app. Please share links if any. Thanks
