Converting String To Date so it shows as an option for DATE FIELD in Summary Number

Good morning. Not sure what it is that we're missing but for some reason the only data avialable to choose in the DATE FIELD dropdown (series of screenshots below) is _BATCH_LAST_RUN_, which is not the date field we need to show CURRENT in the top level summary number.

We've converted Last Viewed from text string to date but it's not available in the dropdown when setting the summary number to Hours Viewed. Instead, the _BATCH_LAST_RUN_ date field is the only one visible, and that is a single date which doesn't allow su to show the current week only.

Any thoughts on what we're missing, or doing wrong? Thanks!

Sorry, was trying to get this done without having to create an ETL but that seemed to be the quickest way to resolve. Went ahead and did just that, so it's all set now though if anyone DOES have thoughts on this please feel free to post so that it's a "quicker fix" if the need arises again in the future.

Apologies for posting something that I was able to resolve...
