SharePoint REST Connector

Hoping someone has run into this when connecting an Excel sheet from a SharePoint.

My header row (row 10 as it happens) has a blank in cell A of that row. Instead of pulling it in as Column_1 as I would expect, it removes that cell and shifts all other headers over. Not only do the headers end up shifted, but it fails to pull the last column of the sheet I need.

Is there a way around this?

  • If you are able to edit the Excel document and put some dummy data in that cell, that seems like the easiest solution.

Another option would be to start at an earlier row and then filter out the header rows in the ETL by looking for certain information and then create your own column names with the select columns tile in the ETL.
