Summary Number Format in Notebook Card

Is there a way to remove the dotted lines on the Summary Number?

Here's the sample result:

  • I have not seen that before. Are you sure that isn't a browser extension causing that? Is this on a specific card type? I would first try a different browser and see if it is still there.

    Hi @MarkSnodgrass,

I'm using the Notebook Card to build Insights. I don't think it's the browser extension. I have seen this as well on the DOMO tutorial.

Here's the screenshot from the video tutorial:

  • Interesting. I use the dynamic textbox card to display this type of information on a dashboard and it doesn't do the dotted underline. I don't have a notebook card in a dashboard to compare against at the moment, but you could try the dynamic textbox card as an alternative.

  • Here's a screenshot of a dynamic textbox card in a dashboard if this helps:

  • @MarkSnodgrass I will try your recommendation. Thank you for your help!

  • @Madz_A I'd also recommend logging an idea in the idea exchange to allow the removal of the dotted line on the notebook cards.

@MarkSnodgrass how do you add the color to your dynamic text? Are you just using the standard notebook option to add color manually? Or are you using a different card type when you say textbox?

  • @mhouston I'm using the dynamic textbox card in my example, not the notebook card. It has color options available.

@MarkSnodgrass thank you! I didn't know this card type existed but I think it's exactly what I was looking for!
