Awarding badges to User

I just created and awarded a badge to a user for the first time, but couldn't determine how the user would know they have it. Are they sent an email? Will other users know they were awarded a badge?

@SEC,

I am pretty sure they get notified in Buzz and via email based on their notification settings in Domo.
