Problems joining Salesforce number formated as text and joining CSV number formated as a text
I am having trouble using Magic ETL joining a SalesForce datasource field that is a text field (but looks like a number) to a csv field that is similar. (text field that looks like a number). I have also used the "Set Column Type" to make sure the fields are text. I have successfully used vlookup in Excel to join the columns (columns have to be formated as "General" and not text.
Any suggestion on how to accomplish this?

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're setting the column type for both columns and then attempting to join, is that correct? Could you give some more detail around the error you're seeing?
Sincerely,
