How to show Top % and Other in a stacked Bar Chart?

Hi All,

I am trying to come up with a calculated field, that I could use to show the Top 5 and Other

in a stacked bar chart.

That is how it should look like ( created a sketch in Excel):

That is how my bar chart currently looks like in Domo (sample data):

Any help is really appreciated.

Thank you so much,

Sabine

You can do this by using a window function in a beast mode. You may need to ask your CSM to enable window functions in beast modes. Once that is enabled you can create a beast mode like this:

RANK() OVER (PARTITION BY YEAR(date) ORDER BY SUM(valuefield) DESC)

You would then add this beast mode to your filters and filter to where it is less than or equal to 5.

    Hi @MarkSnodgrass

thank you very much for your quick answer.

I guess to show Top N and Other I will have to create two charts and place them underneath each other.

Thank you so much for your help :-)
