Password reset not working?

Has anyone had an issue with resetting a password for a user, testing + confirming that the reset password works, and then a day later the password not working?
While this has a high chance of end user error, I want to make sure it's not a known issue or something someone has experienced/solved before.

I just had to do some password resets yesterday and I didn't have any issues. I would make sure the user's browser isn't putting in a saved password automatically for them.
