Hi Team,

I see few enhancements can be made to Domo Governance Datasets as below.

1.Domo Governance - Dataset Schemas with Tags dataset

I see a field for "Column Tag" on dataset. Can we also include "Dataset Tag" field to Domo Governance - Dataset Schemas with Tags?

2 Domo Governance - Beast Modes with Fields dataset

Can we include a field to this dataset to show the Beast Mode owner name?

3.Domo Governance – Cards dataset

Can we also add "Created Date" field to this dataset besides 'Last Modified Date/Time' field?

4.Domo Governance - Cards

I noticed that the cards which belongs to Editors if are on their Overview page, those are listed under Orphan Page(under Page field). Only, Admin’s overview page cards show up on Overview Page list.

Can we list the Overview page cards of Editors and get the actual list of Orphaned cards which belongs to Editors?

Thanks!

  • @Khan_Naziya , i love your feedback, but also think it's worth considering 'what would that look like.

    For example.

1.Domo Governance - Dataset Schemas with Tags dataset

I see a field for "Column Tag" on dataset. Can we also include "Dataset Tag" field to Domo Governance - Dataset Schemas with Tags?

One Dataset can have many tags.  So if the granularity of the data is one row per field (per column tag?) how does that look like if for one column, i have several column tags, and MANY dataset tags?

    4.Domo Governance - Cards

I noticed that the cards which belongs to Editors if are on their Overview page, those are listed under Orphan Page(under Page field). Only, Admin’s overview page cards show up on Overview Page list.

Can we list the Overview page cards of Editors and get the actual list of Orphaned cards which belongs to Editors?

-- i do not believe you should use / trust 'orphan' state on the cards page.  Why?  b/c the state of being an orphan is tied to whether a card is shared to a page.  i should find information about cards being shared to pages in the ... cards and pages dataset.  so to get a complete picture of where cards are shared, I should not rely on share information coming from the Cards dataset.  To get the most accurate view of orphaned cards, you should do a LEFT JOIN btwn Cards and CardsNPages and filter for cards where the RIGHT side is NULL.

For "Domo Governance - Dataset Schemas with Tags" dataset, can we have comma separated dataset tags list per row?
