Now that the variables created with beast mode can be used as a filter in a card, it will be great to allow these variables to be used in the filter cards.

  • You can use beast modes in filter cards.

You can't use aggregations, sum(amount), in filter cards because that would require the ability to filter on the HAVING clause (which is a feature switch that's not enabled by default, talk to your CSM!)

Side note about said feature switch:

    - Export to excel and PPT is not supported at this time
    - Aggregated Beast Mode will not work as a Quick Filter
    - Current Value Summary number using the Aggregated BM is not supported

@jaeW_at_Onyx  Do I need to get a beta for this?  The beast mode works for me as a fitler in a card.  However, when I try to use the beast mode(non-aggregated beast mode) in a fitler card, it does not work.   Basically, we recently had some name changes for Businessline, since I wont be able to do the changes for historical data in the dataflow, I wanted to change it in Beast mode.

here is the beast mode for this one:

case when `campaign_businesslinefullname` = 'DS' then 'DH'
    else `campaign_businesslinefullname` end

    Thank you.

  • @WizardOz check in with your CSM.  It should be available.
