Domo Certification Available!

Domo Certification is just around the corner and will be available for Domo customers in June. Below are a few details and frequently asked questions about the program to help you prepare. More information will be coming as we get closer.

Which Domo Certifications will be available?

• Domo Professional (Level 1 & Level 2) - focused on the business user. Covers basic and advanced card creation, dashboard design, and using data to make decisions.
• Data Specialist (Level 1 & Level 2) - focused on the data/technical user. Covers basic and advanced data connection and data manipulation.
• MajorDomo - focused on the business and data user. Covers content from Domo Professional and Data Specialist, plus governance and administration in Domo.

What is the cost to certify?

• Domo Professional Level 1: $99
• Data Specialist Level 1: $99
• Domo Professional Level 2: $249 (must first pass Domo Professional Level 1)
• Data Specialist Level 2: $249 (must first pass Data Specialist Level 1)
• MajorDomo: $199 (must first pass Domo Professional Level 2 AND Data Specialist Level 2)

What if I don't pass the first time?
You will be allowed 1 re-take per purchased exam.

How long will my certification be valid?
Your Domo Certification is good for 12 months.

How will the certification exams be administered?
Your exam will be administered online through a Learning Management System.

How can I prepare for the certification exam?
Detailed study materials and course training content will be available when Domo Certifications are generally available. In the meantime, you can head over to the Domo Appstore and search for "Domo University" to find training apps to help you brush up on key skills.

You will have 365 days to complete the exams once you enroll. 

 

Also, to recertify there will be a cost. We don't have that finalized yet, but we are shooting for half the cost of the original. We should have a better idea in about six months.

General availability for Domo Certification is now just days away! Look for an invite to get certified beginning on June 19^th.

 

We are making available over 80 online training courses, free for all Domo users, to help you prepare for certification. Details on how to access training will be announced next week. Attached is a description of each certification and the recommended training. Be sure to also check out the Frequently Asked Questions in the attachment.

 

Be on the lookout next week for an email inviting you to begin your Domo Certification journey, as well as a little recognition for the first Domo users to achieve MajorDomo certification.

Atleast one certification should be free of cost, like basic level one certification must be free to encourage people to learn more of DOMO.

Once we buy the exams, is there a time period to take them? Or do we have them until we take the exam?

I believe you have 365 days and you can take the exam twice.
