Removing Specific Values from Legend

When applying color rules, each rule gets listed if you have the legend visible. This can get unruly if you have multiple color rules. It would be great if you could exclude specific values from the legend or have the legend be based on the symbol type (e.g., variance = bar, rather than variance > 5% = green bar and variance < -5% = red bar).
