filters question

When adding filters on a card is there a way to have it so that if it meets the criteria of any of the filters added not all? We have 3 fields which are needing to be added to a filter but it can have any of the data from each filter and not all? If that make sense?

thanks

  • So you could write an inclusion Beast Mode that would go something like this:

CASE WHEN Condition 1 is met OR Condition 2 is met OR Condition 3 is met THEN 1 ELSE 0 END

Then filter on = 1. This way as soon as any one of your conditions is met, the row is included.

    Hope that helps,

  • So each the fields that I'm filtering on are called servicefailure1, servicefailure2, and servicefailure3....each have different codes within them as choices, how would I write this?

ex. servicefailure1 when I add as a filter has codes, CCN, IF, CN, AF, etc.

  • Something like this:

    CASE WHEN `servicefailure1` IN ('CCN','IF','CN','AF')
    OR `servicefailure2` IN (...........................)
    OR `servicefailure3` IN (...........................)
    THEN 1
    ELSE 0
    END
  • so I have it written as:

case WHEN `ORDER SERVICE FAILURE` IN ('CCN', 'DE', 'FN', 'IN', 'IT', 'NC', 'R', 'RCN', 'SN')
OR `ORDER SERVICE FAILURE 2` IN ('CCN', 'DE', 'FN', 'IN', 'IT', 'NC', 'R', 'RCN', 'SN')
OR `ORDER SERVICE FAILURE 3` IN ('CCN', 'DE', 'FN', 'IN', 'IT', 'NC', 'R', 'RCN', 'SN')
            THEN 1
            ELSE 0
            END

But when I add it to my filter it doesn't allow me to filter on 1 or 0, only if its greater than, less than, etc.
